Have you ever tried to walk some the National Mall's best memorials? The Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln, the Franklin Roosevelt, the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial? It can take an entire day, if not more! Our Monuments and Memorials Segway Tour makes it possible to visit them all in just three hours.

As a respect to each of the sites, Segway riding is prohibited on the Memorials, so we’ll use them to venture from site to site, taking in the incredible scenery as we travel. Then, when we arrive at the site, guests can walk around the Memorials for about 15-25 minutes after receiving the great history, anecdotes, and urban legends that have made our tours famous the world over.

  • Washington Monument - The pinnacle structure dedicated to the founder of our country, George Washington. The centerpiece of the National Mall, it dominates the DC skyline and has one incredible history.
  • Jefferson Memorial - One of the most striking memorials to an integral founding father is also one of the toughest to get to. Our Segway’s will bring you right up the Memorial to our third President.
  • Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial - The Memorial with one of the largest footprints in D.C., this stunning Memorial to our longest serving President is divided into four “rooms”, each representing one of his four terms in office.
  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial - One of the newest Memorials on the National Mall, the Martin Luther King honors the efforts of the amazing Civil Rights leader. Just steps away from where he delivered his famous "I have a Dream Speech," take in the beautiful memorial and read some of his strongest quotes on Civil Rights.
  • Lincoln Memorial - A temple built on the edge of the Potomac River dedicated to the 16th President. It has been at the center of the Civil Rights movement for nearly a century.
  • Also see - the Vietnam Memorial, World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial and more!

Out of respect for the subjects of these monuments and memorials, Segway riding may be prohibited in some areas. Thus, there is some walking involved in the Monuments and Memorials Tour) If you are looking for a more comprehensive tour around the National Mall with more Segway riding, check out our National Mall Segway Tour running daily!
